Ordination to the Presbyterate - February 03, 2024
On a beautiful sunny morning, the Old Catholic Diocese of the Southeast joyfully celebrated the Sacrament of Holy Orders for a Presbyter for our brother, tranistional Deacon Robert Moore. Surrounded by the love and prayers of his family, friends, and the representatives of the diocesan communities, Daniel was ordained as a priest for our Diocese. He gratefully celebrated his First Mass of Thanksgiving the following day, Sunday, February 04, 2024 at Holy Spirit. Currently, Fr. Daniel will continue to serve pro-tem at Holy Spirit Old Catholic Church in Safety Harbor as he deepens his priestly identity and ministry among us. God's peace and every blessing, Fr. Daniel!

Daniel was ordained to the transitional diaconate and we look forward to his presbyteral ordination in the spring of 2024. His ordination was the fulfillment of a life-long aspiration to serve God's people in ministry. Dcn. Daniel currently resides in Palm Harbor, Florida with his spouse of 30 years, Stephen McMurray and their two dogs. Many more years, Deacon Daniel.
